ICC ODI Bowling Rankings: Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah has become the top bowler in ICC’s recently released ODI rankings for his good performance with the ball against England.
Bumrah took 6 wickets for 19 runs in the first ODI against England. This pacer grabbed the top spot with 718 points straight from number four. New Zealand’s left-handed fast bowler Trent Boult has dropped to second place due to Bumrah’s rise to the top spot.

Currently, Bolt is in second place with 712 ratings. Pakistan’s left-handed fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi moved from second to third place with 681 points.
Bumrah lost the top spot to New Zealand’s Trent Boult in February 2020 after being No.1 for most of the past two years.
Bumrah is the second Indian fast bowler after Kapil Dev to be at number one in the ODI rankings. Maninder Singh, Anil Kumble, and Rabindra Jadeja are other Indian bowlers who have reached the top rankings in the past.

On the other hand, Indian young batsman Suryakumar Yadav got the award for scoring a century in the third T20 match against England. He has climbed 44 steps and placed at number five in ICC T20 batsman rankings after his fantastic 117 in the final match of a three-T20I series against England. Even though India lost the match, Surya Kumar’s batting is remembered by everyone.

Apart from this, among the first 20 batsmen in T20, Ishan Kishan is at 12th place with 645 points, Rohit Sharma is at number 18 with 590 points and Lokesh Rahul is at 19th place with 584 points.
At present, Virat Kohli is at number three with 803 points and Rohit Sharma is at number four with 802 points on the list of ODI batsman rankings. Dhawan has improved by one step to number 12. Babar Azam tops the list of batsmen. Pakistan’s Imam-ul-Haq is at number two.
