Here we have listed all of India’s Schedule For The Next World Test Championship 2021-2023. This will be the second ICC World Test Championship.
The Inaugural edition of the World Test Championship started in 2019. Which ended with the final match of New Zealand vs India in 2021. This tournament of the Inaugural World Test Championship has been going on for almost two years.
Throughout the season, India has done a great performance and most of the time is at the top of the points table.
The final match of this inaugural World Test Championship was held on June 18-23 at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton. However, India failed to win the title of this inaugural ICC World Test Championship. New Zealand defeated India in the final match to win their Maiden ever ICC title.
However, Virat Kohli and his team are proud of the performance they have shown throughout the tournament. But now it’s time to forget everything and start all over again.
India’s series updates for the second edition of World Test Championship:
The next World Test Championship will start in July 2021 and will end in 2023. According to the WTC format, each team will play 6 Test series. In which there will be three Home Series and three away series.
India tour of England, 2021:
India will start their journey for the second World Test Championship with 5 Test matches series against England. The series will start on August 4, 2021, and end on September 14, 2021.

New Zealand tour of India 2021:
After the 5 Test matches series with England, India will play a 2 match Test series with New Zealand on the home in November 2021. However, the schedule for this series has not been announced yet.
India tour of South Africa 2021-2022:
After the Test series with New Zealand, Kohli and his team will go to South Africa. India will play a three-match Test series against South Africa. This series will be played between December 2021 and January 2022.
Sri Lanka tour of India, 2022:
Before the 2022 IPL, Sri Lanka will come to India to play a 3-match Test series and a 3-match T20 with India. This will be India’s second Home series.
Australia tour of India, 2022:
India will play its third home series against Australia. Australia will come to India to play a four-match Test series with India which will be known as Border- Gavaskar Trophy.
India tour of Bangladesh 2022:
After the Test series with Australia, India will play a 2-match Test series with Bangladesh. With this test series with neighbouring countries, India will end its second WTC journey.
