After the T20 series, Team India has also bagged the ODI series. The third and final match of the three-match ODI series was held at the Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester.

Team India’s top order slipped a bit but Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant took over the reins of the team. Rishabh’s dashing century finally put a smile on India’s face. In the end Rohit Brigade won this match by five wickets.

Sunday’s match was an absolute thorn in the side. In the first ODI series of three matches, Team India virtually blew away England by 10 wickets at the Oval.

But England made a comeback in the second match. They once again made a comeback in the series by defeating India by 100 runs.

As a result, it was natural that the team that won the third match, the series would go into their pocket. In this scenario, Team India held their nerve till the end and had the last laugh.

Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to field first. There was only one reason. The surface of the wicket was quite hard. He had already informed that the ball will come to the batter very easily here.

However, before the match, Team India was somewhat shocked. because Jasprit Bumrah could not play in this match due to injury. Mohammad Siraj got a chance to replace him in the first XI of Team India.

Team India had a terrible performance with the ball on Sunday. He got all out by scoring 259 runs in just 45.5 overs. Jos Buttler scored the highest 60 runs for England. On the other hand, Jason Roy scored 41 and Moeen Ali scored 24 runs.

Apart from this, Craig Overton 32 and Liam Livingstone gave an important innings of 27 runs. Hardik Pandya bowled brilliantly for India and took four wickets. On the other hand, Yuzvendra Chahal took three wickets and Mohammad Siraj took two wickets.

After that, India’s batting started. Team India’s top order could not perform at all. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli both returned to the pavilion with 17 runs. Besides Shikhar Dhawan 1 and Suryakumar Yadav returned with 16 runs.

Finally Rishabh Pant paired with Hardik Pandya gave a fifth wicket partnership of 133 runs. By the time Hardik returned with 71 off 55 balls, the future of this match was written. In the end, Rishabh remained unbeaten with 125 runs off 113 balls. And with that, the Indian cricket team won this match with 47 balls left.
