The Indian cricket team is currently going through the tight international schedule. Within two days of the end of the T20 series, the ODI series against England is starting from tonight.
India will play its first ODI on April 12. As a result of winning the T20 series, team India will be ahead mentally, so team India will have to keep an eye on the fitness aspect as there will be frequent matches. So keeping the team in balance in this situation is very challenging.
As Test cricket has seen a new form of England after Ben Stokes becomes captain, but it has not been seen in white ball cricket. England chased down 378 runs in the fifth Test against India, but the same team almost surrendered in the T20’s.
They also lost to the West Indies in the T20 earlier this year. Only the team have been able to show dominance against the Netherlands. That’s why India is far ahead from the England. With the exception of this year’s tour of South Africa, all the other tours have been pleasant.
However, both the teams have problems with the first XI. The main reason for this is the frequent matches and some injuries in the squad.
Predicted Playing xi Of England:
England’s top order batsman Jason Roy is not in good form, that has been seen in the T20 series. They are relying on Jason Roy in the ODI series also.
Joss Butler will bat down a bit. He will be accompanied by Johnny Bairstow. However, Joe Root’s return to form will give the team oxygen. Reece Topley is fascinated by his pace, his length and speed are different from the rest so he will be in England’s playing xi.
