Indian Premier League, the World’s one of the biggest T20 cricket leagues is back. 2022 is going to be the 15th edition of IPL. Earlier IPL was held with 8 teams but from now on IPL will be held with 10 teams. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Gujarat Titans (GT) are the two new IPL teams that will be participating in the IPL from now on.
With the inclusion of two new franchises, the IPL will now be conducted with 10 teams, all of which will represent different cities in India. All the matches of 2022 editions will be completely played in Maharashtra, mainly in Mumbai and Pune. The 10 teams will play a total of 74 matches at the four venues and the tournament will start on March 26.

Gujarat Titans are one of the two new teams participating in the 2022 IPL. This franchise is mainly located in Ahmedabad city. Gujarat Titans are owned by CVC Capital. Ahmedabad-based IPL franchise, Gujarat Titans is owned by a private equity firm, CVC Capitals Partners. The company has made the second-highest bid of INR 5625 crore to win the Ahmedabad-based IPL team.
Gujarat Titans Logo:
The newly formed Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise from Gujarat Titans, Ahmedabad launched their logo on Sunday 20th February. Gujarat Titans are the first team in the IPL to launch their logo on Metaverse.
They created a virtual space in Metaverse called ‘The Titans Dugout’. Launched by the team’s head coach – Ashish Nehra, captain – Hardik Pandya, and batsman – Shubhaman Gill, the logo draws inspiration from the shape of a ‘kite’.
Gujarat Titans Jersey For IPL 2022:
The Gujarat Titans unveiled their jerseys for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at a glittering event at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, March 13.
Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah was invited as the chief guest at the jersey launch event at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Captain Hardik Pandya, head coach Ashish Nehra, cricket director Vikram Solanki, and other members and officials of the team were also present there.
