Shortly before the start of the match, former British star cricketer Michael Vaughan made a big prediction about the England team. He said, England scored 496 against the Netherlands a few days ago, so he would not be surprised if England scored 400 against India.
That word probably reached Jaspreet Bumrah’s ears. And that is why he single-handedly destroyed the star-studded batting of the English team. His brilliant bowling has broken England’s batting line-up like a house of cards.

However, Jaspreet Bumrah is not alone, as well as Mohammad Sami has helped him with his great bowling. The two stars took 9 wickets together. Somehow in front of India on this day, England managed to score only 110 runs.
After winning the toss, captain Rohit Sharma decided to bowl first. Virat Kohli was not in the match due to injury. However, the Indian batters did not have to work hard to win the match.

Joe Root and Ben Stokes returned to the British camp that day. But they were forced to surrender in front of Jaspreet Boomer. Jason Roy and Joe Root could not open the scoreboard in front of Jaspreet Boomer’s bowling. Bumrah also returned Bairstow to the dressing room for 7 runs.
Then it was Samir’s turn. He also returned Ben Stokes to the dressing room with zero runs. Within 26 runs Bumrah and Sami together took 5 wickets which decided the fate of the match.

Bumrah also dismissed Liam Livingstone for 0 runs. And Mohammad Sami stopped Joss Butler who was fighting for a while. Needless to say, Jaspreet Bumrah is the best player of the day with 6 wickets for just 19 runs. England camp ended with just 110 runs.

Jaspreet Bumrah was the best of the match with 6 wickets for 19 runs:
111 runs was an easy target in front of the Indian batsmen. Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan opened the innings. In this match, they completed 5,000 runs on the field as the first Indian opening pair.
Then they slowly started scoring runs against England. Also occasionally there were big shots by Rohit Sharma and from the other side, he was accompanied by Shikhar Dhawan. The England bowlers were helpless to them that day.
