“Yes, I have agreed to the biopic. It will be in Hindi but it is not possible to reveal the name of the director now. It will take some more time for everything to be finalised,” BCCI president told News 18 Bangla.
In “M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story”, the role of MS Dhoni is played by Sushant Singh Rajput. In “Azhar” movie, Emraan Hashmi played the role of Mohammad Azharuddin. In “83” films of Kapil Dev, Ranbir Singh played the role of Kapil Dev. This time in Sourav Ganguly’s biopic, Ranbir Kapoor can be seen playing the role of Sourav Ganguly if everything goes well so far.
Several months ago, it was reported that Hrithik Roshan will be seen playing the role of Sourav. However, it was cancelled.

According to the report, the list includes several famous Bollywood actors for the role of Sourav Ganguly in the biopic of Sourav Ganguly. Sourav likes famous Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor so he has chosen Ranbir Kapoor. The budget for this movie will be around 200-250 crores.
Ranbir Kapoor had earlier played the role of Sanjay Dutt in the movie “Sanju”. He worked hard for this movie. And “Sanju” did well at the box office. Viewers praised Ranbir Kapoor’s acting for this movie. But Sourav Ganguly’s biopic will be a new challenge for him.

Three years ago, he went to Sourav Ganguly’s house and had a meeting to make Sourav Ganguly’s biopic. But then “Dada” did not agree. Sourav Ganguly, however, said that he had also received many more offers, which he rejected at the time.
Last Year, When Neha Dhupia asked “Dada” who he would like to play in his biopic. Since he could not come up with a name, Neha Dhupia suggested Hrithik Roshan’s name, Ganguly said, “But he’s got to get a body like me, first. A lot of people would say the way Hrithik’s body is, how good-looking he is, and how muscular he is, people would say ‘Aree, you’ll have to get a body like Hrithik’. But, Hrithik will have to get a body like me before he starts.”
Now he has agreed to his biopic. However, it can be said without any doubt that after MS Dhoni, Bollywood is going to witness another great biopic (Biopic of Sourav Ganguly).
